Ok, so I use pine pellet litter for my cat instead of clay and for the most part it's great, but it is more work to clean. I have a sifting tray, which makes it somewhat quicker to separate the good pellets from the dust, but I'm thinking like a rotating mesh drum would be even better.

A mesh drum, with a handle to turn it, inside something to collect the dust as it spins on it's side so the pellets tumble allowing the dust to separate. No idea if this sort of thing already exists. I figure there are industrial separators that work like that, but I want something for home use.
