South Australia yesterday. Wholesale electricity prices soared to $20K per mwh when gas turbines kicked in 7.30 to 10pm. SA last 30 days - Gas averages $2000 Solar $47 Wind $81 Observation - The companies which do most to cause our heatwaves... make the most profit from heatwaves? Got it.
