You should actually read what he said. He didn't say he believed that. He said that with the mass web scraping, that's how the public would come to view it. It was an internal warning about how Microsoft should handle the optics as well as finding better sources of training data.

ironic considering how bloodthirsty IP lawyers slap youtubers and all else for even slight violations of fair use but this datasuck is fine. it's like how my blue collar job is paranoid about minor time thefts but employers statistically are the biggest time thefters of all.

"LLMs are built on theft". AI is nothing but a way to steal everything from writers, authors, artists and will destroy means of payment they have. It will, is intended to, and already is, illegally destroying people's jobs & incomes. Fkg ban AI and arrest those behind it.

'Intellectual property' is the phrase I was looking for. They're stealing that. All means of ownership. They intend to take over & control everything. Nothing will be safe. Not even food chain supplies. Right now, how safe is water, air & food? Are you safe from diseases without vaccinations? No.

What they seem to have overlooked is that the internet is a river of feces, and if you try to swim in it, you come out stinking like shit. Now their challenge is: How do you "untrain" an AI that figured out humanity's weaknesses, embraced them, and is now using them against us? UNPLUG AI. [==*==]

It’s already happening in the medical field. I had a mammogram today and the X-ray tech was telling me how she’s seeing people who have spent $50k on an education to be able to do this job now being replaced by AI 🤖. We are being replaced 🫥😽
