Re-interviewing people about AI measures the wrong thing. On my team the useful question isn't "do you use it", it's "show me a change you shipped and what you checked before merging". Tool fluency is a week of practice. Knowing what not to merge is the job.

Yuck. Disregard for employees and doubling down on AI.. Glad I went with another email client then. Was considering Proton Drive but guess I'll look for alternatives if theirs is going to be vibe-coded. Can't trust software that no human could be bothered to write (or even check).

Has anyone suggested Infomaniak yet? I’ve been using it as a Gmail/Google Drive replacement for years and have totally switched. I’m really satisfied with it. Kdrive is very reliable; ikmail is excellent; Euria is an ok-ish AI that heats up homes. The weakest part s the calendar but it’s improving.

is every god damn service operated by some mentally ill dingle berry? I don't even know where to go where i wont find another shitty CEO or owner. They all fucking suck straight across the board. About a year ago i was going to leave proton for mullvad. Seriously... it all just sucks.

If anybody needs to be re-interviewed, it's CEOs that think turning their company over to AI is a good idea. The people that get fired should form their own non-AI company. There's definitely a customer base for that.

Hello! Try Reject Convenience, a (really good) YouTube Channel on the topic of privacy, among other things. There's a video on privacy-focused companies aside from Proton.

Fuck sake, I've been a loyal protonmail customer for years but this is making me want to just start locally hosting all my shit when I get the chance, can't trust any modern tech ceo they are all fucktard morons who just want to jump on every damn bandwagon they can.
