i deleted my post about tidelift as i didn't want to speculate. here's a 2nd attempt after further research: - tidelift pays you more if you split your package into smaller pieces - 20-30 lifted packages can earn you $1-2k/month big users have 100s of lifted packages. there may be a cap.

mostly reposting this because there are a lot of maintainers out there who wonder about it. transparency is a good thing. just sharing what i know in case it is of interest to any of you
