I can't vote for Abdul bc I'm out of state, but I greatly appreciate Courtney's concerns. It is very suspicious that these data centers are being rushed in without any guardrails. I'd say slow down until laws to protect residents have caught up with the realities.

The point of the data centers is massive surveillance and suppression of the people. It's relatively easy to do things like take down "No Kings" Instagram during a protest, but they want to get the disruption down to the individual level, more dynamic. Computing power should not be used for evil.

They need to dampen the noise and lights and provide their own electricity and water. They need to pay taxes and pay to build schools, roads and medical facilities. They should not be built within 50 miles of a residential area, nature preserve or protected land.
