UPDATE: Hours after filing our amended petition, a federal judge ordered Rümeysa Öztürk can't be removed from the U.S. until further court order. The government must respond to the amended petition by Tuesday at 5pm. This is a critical next step. We won’t stop until Rümeysa is free.

The good news is that American popular opinion is pretty firmly on "President can't just ignore the courts". Grabbed, whether that can translate into Republicans in Congress growing a spine or sense of shame is another matter.
