The fact you lot think a piece of undemocratically enacted paper passed by fascists of the past is a bonafide safeguard against fascists of the present who subconsciously know to varying extents that they have zero obligation to comply with it is VERY existentially naive.

No, they don't. They have proven that time after time. They arrest, imprison and people have to sit in "prison" until the courts get around to requiring release... Even THEN they are refusing to release.
