BREAKING: The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to allow essential health care to be withheld from transgender people in federal prisons. Denying medically-necessary care to any incarcerated person is cruel and unusual punishment — period.

Torture and malignant neglect seem to be the regime’s de facto settings for prisoners. Weird that so many of their own are criminals. It’s almost like cruelty isn’t a deterrent.
