Just go to the bottom of www.ice.gov/detain/detention-management, click on the Excel file, check it yourself. Of the Jan. 3 population in ICE detention centers: - 26% "convicted criminal" — few violent crimes - 26% "pending criminal charges" - 48% "other immigration violator" (no criminal record)
