Can America be any more "stupider"? Hard to believe, but, yes. It's one thing the GOP is very good at. Makes it much more convenient for the oligarchs to prosper and reign.

Trump is afraid of smart people. No matter how dumb cruel and corrupt you think he is he’s worse. And he has chosen a bunch of immoral losers to serve him. We need a toxic cleanup in the White House.

So many international students struggling mentally. Teaching and tutoring for peanuts, couldn't go home last summer, couldn't go home over Christmas. Some spend hours with US students that might not finish without them. Terrified they might be grabbed by ICE. Some have been. Pray for them!

Here’s a case that says it’s not so clear about students at universities. My son certainly wasn’t the top candidate for a seat in the CSE program at my state’s top university, but he had relevant experience in the field and came from a prestigious local high school.

While the international students at his high school were all accepted into the program, he was not. He had to take a different route and secured a position in computer science after graduating. It is true that international students help fund our universities with higher tuition…

…but I believe the certain programs are less available to local students. Also, the CSE undergraduate degree are often 5 year endeavors unless a student arrives with college credits through community college or AP classes. More scrutiny is needed.

Literally every single decision this administration makes is bad for Americans and our future interests. We’ve taken our prosperity, leadership, integrity, and goodwill out in the backyard and set it ablaze. I will never understand why.

This is absolutely on point. As with all Trump policies whose goal is domination and retribution, they end up hurting the people they are supposedly helping. In this case it’s colleges and the US students that will end up paying more, not to mention reputational damage and decline of US soft power.
