Thread (1 of 5). Time to set the record straight, MAGAs will say “fake news” but it’s not, and the truth is the truth. A thread on US assistance to Ukraine. Total U.S. defense spending from full scale invasion to today: (Feb. 2022–mid 2026) ~$4.2–4.5 trillion Cont...

Total U.S. appropriations RELATED to Ukraine ~$195 billion OF THAT: military/security assistance to Ukraine ~$68 billion committed The $68 billion is more the direct assistance, the remaining $130 billion was spent to replace old weapons that were going to expire anyway, that we sent to Ukraine.

Most of that money would have been spent on replacements regardless, but this was then charged to Ukr account That is called PDA: Presidential drawdown authority. So the $350 billion is a lie. It was closer to $190 billion. We have been outspent, significantly, by Europe.

Bottom line: we have spent about 2 percent to 4 percent of our TOTAL defense spending to help destroy one of our big three enemies…. This is a “good deal” in terms of an investment. But there are so many who lie, or don’t understand what is happening.

Only $68 billion over almost 5 years has gone to Ukraine… 1.5 percent. Bottom line: the US has only spent a fraction of our total defense spending to destroy one of our main enemies. /END

The US Media simply aren’t competent enough to tell this story. Poor US educational standards is one reason. Bribes by Republicans is another. Right wing Americans enraged by WOKE rhetoric & now paying $4 gas, ate getting a clue as to who the problem is. Just in time for November elections. lol

A Commander in Chief who cannot recognise his true enemies is hardly of any use running the world's super-power. No other American President (as far as I know) was that stupid.

And that doesn't include European humanitarian aid for Ukraine itsself and reconstruction loans. It also doesn't include the money spend to house and feed Ukranian refugees within the EU member states.
