This week, the EU offered associate membership to Canada. EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen framed the news in how "Europe and Canada believe in democracy, that power does not belong to the strongest, richest and loudest, but to all of us.” She was talking about us. (Link below)

To be clear Adam, we don’t want the US to return to the central role it played in the last 80 years. Not because we don’t want to rely on what 10 thousand people do in Wiscosin but because relying too much on one country is a bad model. We would be happy that US citizens believed in democracy.

Trump’s economic attacks on Canada are not because of over reliance on Canadian trade. They’re because of his dream of Canada being a part of the US, and because Canadians disagreed, he starts bullying. US Canada trade has always been organic, logical and mutually prosperous , but Trump changed this

Many of us do, but; we also have a number whose beliefs have replaced pride with arrogance and humility with hubris - That somehow, rights and privilege belong only to a few based on money, biology or faith - The reality is, it only works when you’re willing to give all that to others as well

The good ship called Normalcy has long sailed and I don’t believe will be back soon. I don’t think the people of the U.S. really realize what damage has been done to the U.S-led world-order. The EU-Canada collaboration is not a surprise but is just the beginning of a manifestation of the inevitable

I am so sad to find that I am constantly cheering on our former partners as they continue to try to shine a light on what a mess our country is. Go Canada. Maybe the cult will wake up…
