Hot reload is a mess. If you're used to using Vue and Flutter, this is not how hot reload is supposed to work.

Fair point. For me all the other benefits are worth it. I had to stop using Angular because of node. Their hot reload does work.

Yeah. Loathe must've been a bit strong of a word. It's all right for specific use cases. It just frustrates the hell out of me when you change something small and out of the blue hot reload is borked.
