Now my television has AI and apparently I can't disable it. I don't know, man, if you really thought a technology was genuinely useful to people, you'd tell me it's there and let me decide if I wanted to use it, not pop it up every time I open an app and not allow me to turn it off.

If it’s internal to the tv that’s tough. One trick is to not connect the tv to wifi and then use an Apple TV box to access everything. This way you’re at least not being surveilled to the same degree. All smart tvs are surveillance machines.

ah, step 1, button remapper, so you can activate the launcher everytime (since when you restart the tv, it goes back to default) but jailbreak might be the way to go (i've been planning to do this and remove the apps that we never use)

I’ve set up Projectivy with Button Mapper for the moment. Will try out Arc as well and then decide if a jailbreak is strictly necessary.
