Nothing fancy, just a discounted RTX5060-Ti. Next step is to find a small form factor case that can accommodate my existing GTX 970 and build a tiny PC that I can install Linux on and stick near the router downstairs, which I can use both as file storage and XBlock inference.

Getting inference off of my old gaming PC would be such a win, half of XBlock downtime is due to the finicky network card on the machine combined with Windows 11 being an absolutely terrible OS to run a server on.

Though tbh I'm still wondering whether using a Raspberry Pi with an AI HAT wouldn't work better, I'd love it if that's faster but I'd hate to blow £100 on a HAT and then still have to use a GPU in the end if it's not able to handle the workload.
