The Smashing Pumpkins recently released "Black Stars" from the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. This midtempo alt. rock track has a pop friendly feel, and it could be a mainstream hit if it's given a chance. It's a little mellower than I was expecting, but I like it.
