Trump threatened to nuke Iran during the same press event where he called a woman reporter "baby" and a "bitch" and we'll all just supposed to continue on tomorrow as though any of this insanity is normal or acceptable

you may say that and actually you probably believe it, but its been going on for 18 months and not stopping. the rest of us around the world watch in utter disbelief while day after day the same things continue. That makes, what some would call, a new normal

The new normal is the capitulation of power hungry, feckless politicians who've the power to stop this but fail to do so lest they incur their party head's wrath and lose power. It's not just the rest of the world watching in disbelief. It's also the vast majority of everyday Americans.
