We're seated for the Absolute DC panel. Who's excited?! Follow this thread for up-to-the-minute updates. #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

Here. We. Go. #DCComics #comicsky

The moderator says it's the biggest panel room yet at NYCC. #NYCC #NYCC2026

We're starting with Absolute Green Arrow! Scott, Rafa, translator, Nick Robels, Al Ewing, Che Grayson are here. #NYCC #NYCC2026

The next Absolute Green Arrow arc will focus on the POV of Green Arrow, and a new mystery for the audience. Plus, New black canary one shot! #NYCC #NYCC #comicsky

Correction: not a translator; she's the artist on black canary. She was asked about drawing Black Canary - a kind of character she's always wanted to draw, a very strong female. #NYCC #NYCC2026

Al Ewing is talking about the JSA characters for this universe, and Wildcat had to go on an absolute evil one-shot because it's Darkseid's universe; the older characters have been killed off or corrupted. They're not coming to save the newer characters. #NYCC #NYCC2026

Moving to Absolute Flash, with Nick Robles. @artofnickrobles.bsky.social #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

Next up for discussion: Cyborg! Robles wanted to bring in more organic and corrupted cyborg aesthetics to take it in a new direction. Lean into anime extremes here and there; that's his biggest influence: anime. #NYCC #NYCC2026 @artofnickrobles.bsky.social #comicsky

Robles was more worried about Cyborg's design than Flash. Was stressing for weeks and wanted him to be perfect. He's so happy with the fan reaction. @artofnickrobles.bsky.social #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

Asking about Ray Palmer now. Jeff Lemire says he's a tell it like it is character, no sugarcoating. @jefflemire171.bsky.social #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

Time to talk about Green Lantern! Issue 19 a huge issue for the Absolute universe. #NYCC #NYCC2026 #GreenLantern

Kids love charts, they say. Kids love charts, they say. Sneak peek exclusive coming in a future issue: massive psychic revelation. #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

All the pieces are on the table, and we can start having them interact with each other. From Sinestro to Martian Manhunter. Kyle Rayner is coming... #NYCC #NYCC2026 #GreenLantern #comicsky

Che Grayson is onto Absolute Catwoman. "Scott and I built Catwoman to be on the rooftops up high, but Cassandra Cain to be on the streets, in the shadows" #NYCC #NYCC2026 #comicsky

Grayson said they are excited to pull layers off Selina. She's not a hero, she's not a villain. She's in survival mode. #NYCC #NYCC2026

Scott asked how it was to build out Catwoman. He said it's a joy to watch them build a better story that he could ever. Loves watching Che and Bengal run with it. #NYCC #NYCC2026 @ssnyder1835.bsky.social @bengalart.bsky.social
