I don't understand the problem you're seeing. I see every post every person I follow makes. No one can bully anyone out of anywhere. You should see if there are settings that will get you a feed appearance you like better. You could turn off replies in your following altogether, for instance.

Here’s an example of what I meant. Every time Mary Robinette replied to herself, I got both that message and it attached as a rep,y, so I keep getting pages of one person. If I switch off replies though, I don’t get discovery of interesting new discussions. Both are poor outcomes.

I think you must have been online just as MRK was constructing that thread one post at a time, rather than using the thread builder. If I go to her page now it's a proper thread - I think you just hit bad timing.
