so like... what am i doing wrong as a musician? I know I need to work on my style a bit more (I was never great at mixing and mastering), but it's been like, 4 years since I've started this project and I only have a little over 200 subs on YouTube. (1/6)

I know getting anywhere in the music industry is hard, especially if your presence is very limited to a specific set of platforms (YouTube and BandCamp for me), but I've really only had like, one original song blow up, the rest are privated remixes that do not show how I am today. (2/6)

why am I suddenly asking this? Gen Nos Live didn't get the turn out I expected, Resonite's Marketing Team decided to sort of not promote it even though I asked for it (one repost of the announcement on the official account and that was it), so most people ended up watching on YouTube - (3/6)

-deserves on the streaming platforms I am on, I can only really blame my lack of originality and the YT algorithm. we're continuing to lose each other because the internet is powered by shitty AI algorithms that do not prioritize small creators like me. i'm tired, I just want *some* people- (5/6)
