As an Alaskan in DC, this is misleading about why there are armed troops on our streets and what they do. Trump lied about a non-existent "crime emergency" to put them there. The troops don't assist with anything - they walk up and down neighborhood sidewalks all day and glare at folks.

Probably to work security at the UFC fight card the White House is hosting. Nothing new here. Might as well go all in with the corruption and embarrassment of the current administration.
