Russia has been brazenly doing so with covert and overt infiltration through the veil of the first amendment. Israel is no different. Joel Zamel founder of Wikistrat and Psy-group conduct social media influence campaigns to manipulate perception.

To say the psychological warfare operation is all Russia is a bit unfair since Israel has partnered with Cambridge Analytica and the Trump Regime to deliver their desired result for Israel’s interest and advertise their method of influence with the catchy slogan “shape reality”.
