Finding random hardware in my driveway fills me with dread. Not because I worry that it could have gotten into a tire, but because I don’t know where the hell it came from so something must be missing an important fastener

We had a mystery like this and it turns out we were looking at the bottom three inches of a plastic chopstick. We thought our brand new dishwasher threw a rod.

This is most definitely a bolt. The leading theory is that it fell off a rollator. We’ve checked the others two in the house plus a wheelchair and have one more rollator to check later this morning If it’s not that, I’m even more puzzled
