::Once Upon a Galaxy Bug Hall of Fame:: There is a bug with Viscount Chocolat where if it reduces the enemy to exactly 0 health, it remains alive. Since characters with 0 or less attack don't attack, this can create an infinitely-recurring* Punxsutawney Phil... for your OPPONENT.

Bonus points if your opponent has a ranged character in the back taking infinite pot-shots. *there's safety code that explicitly prevents the same copy** of a card from being summoned more than 5 times in one fight, so this doesn't actually break the game, but you're PROBABLY losing that fight.

**this code DOESN'T apply to a Doppelganger face-off because each summon is a fresh copy of the card. Maybe we'll fix that some day, but there's several additional safety nets for "infinite loops" built into the game that will stop things eventually.

You might think this is a simple case of "you put a >= instead of a >" and you're only half-right. The offending code was written on purpose- there's actually a card with base stats of 0/0 that you can draft, and we don't want him to KO during shop phase or immediately at start of battle.

This logic was written before any "de-buffs" (like Viscount) existed in Galaxy, so this didn't cause any issues. In retrospect, Paul should obviously just start as a 1/1. Why is he a 0/0? Because it's Magical! In Magic (the Gathering), LOTS of cards are printed as 0/0s. (around 265 by my count)

Magic cards that set their stats when entering (like Clone) are usually printed as 0/0s, telling the reader "something weird is up, read the textbox". (Historically this was sometimes printed as */*, but now that usually indicates a characteristic-defining ability that applies everywhere)

In Galaxy, cards very rarely have their "base stats" anyways, especially Secret Rare cards like Paul which are usually transformed into (transforms retain all buffs) A 0/0 Paul made sense to our team of Magic alumni, but we will likely adjust as part of fixing this bug :) Cool screenshot unrelated
