If only Iraq controlled its borders which US-Israel transgress at will, and the country is saddled with an imperialist constitution which prevents the Iraqi people from deciding democratically who rules them or what their future will be.

Western democracy does not and will not work in the middle east.

I’m not sure “western democracy” is a thing since there are so many variants. But the idea that empowering people is the best way to ensure that their needs and wants are met seems pretty self-evident, and to say otherwise requires making bigoted assumptions that some cultures are just “different”.
