I did the training, I do the hard work, the investigations, and the public safety. And what did I get? The only time my picture is in the papers is when I am arresting a 94 year old woman.

While it is illegal to express support for Palestinian civilians in the UK, the police had been actively avoiding arresting her because they knew people would actually listen to a 94-year-old Jewish human rights lawyer. They had spent months trying to prevent her from sending that message.

I'm streaming a britbox show (Outrageous) about a British family in 1930s getting exposed to Nazi fascism. The timing of producing this show now seems like a cautionary tale.
