When you’ve been to as many ghost bike vigils as I have it makes a lot of sense.

People who’ve never biked before might not understand this. Frankly, I barely do But I think the reason behind the passion here is this: Bike Lanes Save Lives is not a just a slogan. It’s an actual, documented fact. So eliminating these bike lanes is literally eliminating peoples’ safety.
