Journals, societies and university departments are increasingly recording and publishing talks accompanying new research papers. This is a valuable step in research communication, and makes research more accessible to various audiences.

Cassyni hosts the largest database of these seminars, helpfully with the citations of the works cited by the presenter(s). These now show up in salmon pink (or is it candyfloss?) on our Details Pages. Many publications have their first attention in our database through seminars. Like this one!

Scoring: if a piece of research is mentioned once or more in the same seminar series, it accrues a score of 3. If it shows up in several seminar series it accrues 3 for each series in which it shows up. Here are some really wonderful examples to give you a flavour of what is covered in seminars.
