dude, i hate it here. wardogs content on yt is 99% ai thumbnail. random science content is half claude code animations(which is like, fine if you want to show something that's easier to do with coding like moving 100 items on screen following a logic) and saying it took "a lot of effort"...

and it's just a single page website that was oneshotted by claude and it could have been 100% done by hand. but i digress, what they're doing is content, and content doesnt require quality. it's just a shame the wardogs autistic fobbies using ai for thumbnails that are literally a screenshot + text

and it's mostly small channels doing this. larger channels, even if they use ai for the content, they at least have the decency to not make it look it came out of claude's ass.

i'm stating to feel like, using ai for your content/program is not the problem, but the absolute disonesty with other's people time and trust. like, i have nothing against the ai clones of photoshop poping up cause, 1: fuck adobe, but 2: are also clear that it was made with ai.

like I've been saying: dispassionate and scummy content creators and conmen have always been around and there's a lot of hate on AI just because that's what the discourse settled on and not because of what it actually is.

at the end of the day, ai is an amalgamation of stolen work. but, if ai were to be distributed for free, and it's output couldn't be copyrightable nor sold, people wouldn't be so against it, even with the stolen data. but since it doesnt work that way, we need to be against it as much as we can.

but on the other hand, i might be a lil ignorant saying this, i think that using ai purely for building functional tools and delivering them opensource for free is not that bad as people put it. tools only need to be useful, and if they can benefit people for free, i don't see much problem.
