this feels like it's true in spirit but dramatically falls apart when you are married to someone and have mutual obligations. we share bank accounts, residence, and debts. I can see anything he buys and am responsible for it. that's what marriage is. we are not legally distinct entities anymore.

It saw a post and it doesnt want to point out who, but they said you should know your spouses phone password. Just for the record if your partner or spouse ever asks for passwords its time to leave them if its safe to do so. Under no circumstances should you ever give them your passwords/pin codes

Doll has been with its wife for 10 years and we have never ever had a legitemate reason to share passwords/pins or credentials.

like idk I guess I don't see why I should be concerned this man has the encryption keys to my laptop or the password to my uber account when all our expenses go through a single bank account and our birth certificates and social security cards live next to each other!

like idk this seems like you have severely, to your detriment, misunderstood the marriage contract and are equating wildly different behaviors.

No. Both doll and its wife have had previous partners who abused us and exploited that trust before. Her ex drained her bank account

my husband has every ability and right to drain us financially because we are one financial entity. because. we. are. married. if I no longer trust him not to then I should not be a single financial entity with him! it's pretty simple!

if we were to divorce, our assets would be divided up and it would not matter what was in who's account. not one bit. it's our money. it's our resources. sharing the renter's insurance or netflix or server encryption key is the least concern here.
