Ok, I'm fixing this. Goals: Less unhinged monitor placement (I had reasons!), and more open desk space.

Monitor arms and laptop arms has been the saving grace for me. It gives additional space underneath my desk. I do the same with my microphone so I can move it out of the way easier.

Context: This was all temporary as I was meant to get a bigger desk and put in a window in this room but things happened and here we are…. This is a single monitor arm for two monitors but next time I will definitely get 2 independent ones for more flexibility. This one was $50 on amazon.

Ok I'll fix my setup and you get some more ambient light??

We planned on doing an extension when we bought this house, but I was let go from my long-term contract, so I am stuck. It is currently darker because I have my hurricane shutters down, as this window is leaking heat (70s window). If your setup works, don't! But monitor arms provide flexibility.
