Anyone else noticing considerable more delay in GitHub's UI recently in Firefox? I'm observing seconds long delays in both rendering and typing. It wasn't great - but now it's bordering on unusable.

GitHub was never the fastest interface and often hangs in subtle ways, requiring a hard refresh, but I cannot complain about long (more than one second) delays to the point that they annoy me substantially. Running Firefox Nightly + Refined GitHub extension.

Found the task-manager (More Tools -> Task Manager) and GitHub is using a whopping 4G RAM and 66% CPU for showing me our project board. The board isn't even active on my screen.

yeah the clicking in a file and having to reload the entire internet to get it was the thing that made me migrate to codeberg

All my interactions with GitHub/GitLab happen through CLI tools now, so I happily avoid the shitty UIs
