Been wearing a fully loaded backpack with all the gear that I want to take to Scotland later this year while cleaning the house today and I'm reminded why I dislike backpacks. My back's gotten quite sweaty. This is why I always use a sling for carrying photography gear when out and about.

I own a backpack mostly for getting my gear from one location to another but never really for carrying when I'm just touring a place. I thought I wanted a backpack because "here honey, can you carry this for me?" And I'm second-guessing looking for an EDC backpack that can carry camera gear.
