It’s so fucking embarrassing for both the league and the Dream that this was an issue at all, let alone that it remains one the day before Game 5

One proposal would move Game 6 to Friday, Oct. 30 and Game 7, if necessary, from Saturday, Oct. 31 to Tuesday, Nov. 3. That would mean three days between each of Games 5/6 and 6/7. The WNBA would support that proposal, but only if both teams agree to it, sources said.

Like, if nothing else, how was the game 6 plan not finalized when they dealt with games 3 and 4 (which were embarrassing in their own right)? It wasn’t exactly far-fetched that the series would go 6 games!

If I’m the Valkyries, I tell the Dream to go fuck themselves when asked to agree to a schedule change, because they deserve to have the title clinched by the Valks on their glorified high school gym ass floor at gateway for not dealing with this proactively.

It’s also undoubtedly a competitive advantage for the Dream, who have the much thinner rotation and two of the final three games on the road, to pad the schedule with off days. An advantage they have not earned and do not deserve to be granted.
