Tonight, we’re sleeping in our sleeping bag. It’s become so cold here lately That every morning I wake up literally freezing. But after so many nights Sleeping on the hard floor in the hallway, This actually feels like comfort. It’s warmer. It’s softer. And I can finally stretch my legs.

I can't imagine how hard it is in Ukraine, so I thank you for sharing your experiences as hard as that may be. US will be back to support Ukraine and Rid our own government from those that have been planted by Putin, including our own president possibly. The US owes you protection from Russia!

I've lived somewhat like that .... in poverty. But not under threat of bombing. Not under threat of being hungry. Being cold is no fun. Waking up shivering is not normal. It just shouldn't happen.

I was homeless in Portland, OR for two years. During that time we had the worst winter storm in recorded history. I got Iced inside my tent and I was hanging over a river on a grate. I had no liquids because they froze even inside my sleeping bag. I couldn't leave because the cold burned.

ALL of our politicians should have to experience something like this. Maybe then, they would make better decisions, and work for the people instead of Big Money. So sorry you had to experience that. It sounds miserable. And this just shouldn't happen anywhere, much less in the U.S.

People think everyone homeless is lazy and deserves it. I was because I went to travel, everything planned out and the u- haul agent I used drained my entire credit card. Illegally of course. I took them to court but that's not fast. I was homeless with no help. It was a shock. I lost everything.

This is the biggest problem with the left. They don’t prepare for life. They just think the government is going to take care of them. You need to move to a communist country.
