I hear ya, but I've been on the waiting list since 2020. My $10k investment to move up the WL is now worth $660ish. Aptera, sadly, has not had a great history since I first wanted to buy their EV in, like, the late 2000s, when it then had to shut down.

According to web searches on this topic + interviews explained by co-founders and by recently settled lawsuit with Zaptera in Aptera’s favor, what you are referring to is a different company from 2000s (look it up). All startup investments are risky but can may pay off if successful. We shall see :)
