So invaluable, maybe an active mirror is needed in case?

IMHO, it's time for large socially minded organisations, like the Internet Archive & Wikipedia to either relocate to the EU or create new EU mirror organisations to host a working mirror of their content. Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.

archive.org needs an offline archive or mirror server (farm). Digital destruction of data history is still destruction of history.

Such an invaluable resource. Thank you for preserving history. I have found many family history resources and references here. May your work continue in strength. 🙏
