A couple of years ago here in Australia, a high profile ex-AFL player reached his 70s and lost his weekly TV place. In an attempt to stay relevant he started saying all sorts of dumb shit. People ignored him, and now he's pretty much gone. Hope Souness follows a similar path.

Thank you for calling out the bullshit. Glad to not have that man on the TV coverage constantly anymore. Suspect Keane will go the same way in ten years, mind - very similar attitudes. When his TV work dries up I can fully imagine him resorting to provocative comments.

Ever wonder why added time is brief when Arsenal are losing/tied? And inexplicably long when we're winning? Or why the broadcasters frame gunner's actions as sneaky but opponents' as skillful? The English audience won't tune in unless the club of 'urban elites' & immigrants suffers. It's box office.

Souness is a sad old clickbait merchant and was THE dirtiest cunt in his playing days. Add to that he is ex Spurs I have no further questions on the matter
