writing a DVI source for my FPGA board. it's working great, except on this one specific model of monitor the first line is always shifted to the right by 14 pixels and the image periodically drops out. nobody i've spoken to has any clue what's happening here. please send help

more info: * it's always 14 pixels, regardless of the resolution or timings I'm outputting (or sometimes randomly 12, but that just happens randomly sometimes when you plug it in, again regardless of resolution or timings) * the monitor thinks the resolution is 14 pixels wider than it actually is
