Lindha Paola Zerpa Lara filed for divorce. Next day her estranged husband murdered her. These types of men don't view their family as people but possessions and believe they have a right to "dispose" of that possession if they can't control it. Murder becomes the ultimate expression of control.

Reading one of the articles on this brought up a cruel fact for immigrant women in the US. Women are rightfully afraid to even seek help not just due to violent partners but from the government as the police work hand in hand with ICE. So, instead of getting help, they get deported.

Which is a violation of their rights because immigrants who are victims of crime and can help the police are eligible for U visas that let them stay in the US for up to four years.

This is so sad This man can’t be decent to the people who he says he loved and then is surprised when his abuse results in divorce So he ratchets up and gets in an “if I can’t have her …” death spiral Fuck the society that enables the male mindset of monarch of the relationship

Divorced from who? Murdered by whom? Who inflicted the blunt force trauma? There's no mention of her ex-husband or that he is the actual murderer. This is an example of the media protecting the words used to describe men. & sadly, it looks like a woman was responsible for it this time.🫤

Obviously this is fucked to hell, but the other thing that freaks me out is how they couldn’t give a rats arse about their kids. No matter how much I hated someone, I would not do anything that would cause irretrievable harm to my own child. This possessiveness is poison.
