Some people take feedback as useful suggestions (whether they accept it or not); some take it as a personal attack. The latter take much longer to learn anything. Sometimes too long. I know it sucks but it’s the fastest way to get better.

Personally, beyond feedback, I very much appreciate negative feedback. It allows me to think much deeper about the idea being shared. Also, if often provides the opportunity to ask clarifying questions back to someone who sees things differently. An ability to listen deeply & at times connect.

And yet, studies suggest any form.of negative feedback, even given constructively, is demotivating and reduces productivity. Positive feedback helps. Negative feedback hinders.
