I love finding #harvestmen while recording #lichens. Two from Suffolk: Opilio canestrinii at Rumburgh, Phalangium opilio at Minsmere. I also saw Paroligolophus agrestis and Leiobunum rotundum on survey in Shropshire. @vannabartlett.bsky.social: shall I iRecord latter two even if I didn't get photos?

Can do although I must admit that I only put stuff on iRecord if I have a photo to back it up which helps with verification. Plenty of people record stuff all the time without photos. I only verify Norfolk recs so they wont be mine to deal with.

Thanks, Vanna. Yes: as a verifier myself I tend to expect photos, but that’s mainly because even very common lichens are routinely misidentified by lay recorders. I suppose it’s probably the same with harvestmen! I’ll hold off unless Meg suggests otherwise.

I would accept recs from you without photos as 'considered correct' as I know you know your harvestmen but I would be checking place/habitat time of year. If it was something out of the ordinary I would email with a query!
