1. Ethereal Coats - Year of the Fool EP This lot self-describe as "12-string punish pop" and this is their 2026 demo tape apparently. It has some great wild garagey hammond/guitar flowerings, and just the right amount of throwaway romantic melodies. Beautiful little E.P from Chicago, Ilinois.
2. The Tribulations - The Yearning For A new band comprising Colin Tailor and Enzo Gentzel from Tallahassee, FL; lots of Lee & Nancy vibes from this intimate, mournful slice of indiepop/americana. A bit of Beat Happening and The Girl With The Replaceable Head too, if that helps! Well worth a listen
3. 150 Tisses - Your New Favourite Record Over the last few years this lot have released just four beautiful songs & now they've been winningly collected together. A Norwegian/German virtual pop group featuring the brill Seb Voss, this is jazzy and jangly in equal measure. Beautifully arranged too.
4. Blue Bumblebees - Buzz Through My Window Released today, this is pleasingly slow, melodic jangle from Minneapolis with a few low noisy lurches. The songs are about violence, mortality, care and survival - good and interesting stuff I think! Don't know anything more about them!
