The sad reality is most people just don’t care whether that half-assed “attempted shooting” was staged or real. Trump lies constantly about everything. He attacks anything he dislikes as “fake news.” His administration can’t be trusted on anything. Trump brought this credibility collapse on himself.

As much as I’d love to see him behind bars, it’s most likely he’d end up in a federal country club. And he’d still be pulling the strings of his many questionable enterprises so, yeah, dead works.
