But that school still has a GATE program so if I believe I did participate, there's precedent for that belief. I remember listening to audio programs meant to put us in a meditative state, with maybe a dozen other students. We'd lay down on mats, put headphones on, & listen to audios.

Later on, in a different state and a different school, in high school, I got super into the Monroe Institute audios, because they reminded me of that class. And those audios helped me to sleep, when very few things were able to. Most of my childhood it took me hours to fall asleep.

Ironically, when I would wake up, I would often remember very fantastical dreams, including some flying dreams that seemed like Astral Projection, often where I would be flying to visit relatives. As a young adult, I used to dream of revisiting schools I went to, including my elementary school.
