Recruiter, here. What i am seeing, boots on the ground. Is that our clients are extra skittish on hiring. They will interview for weeks, months but are hesitant on pulling the trigger. In 2022-2024, they would offer a job during an interview!

If you are laid off then there is plenty of time to get to the shooting range…. Never know when those skills will become extremely relevant in the year to come….
