Narrator: Nope. Wrong. Axios is all fucking moron, all the fucking time. The goal here, obviously, is to spread disinfo to spread despair because they believe disheartened liberals won't vote.

Does Jeffrey know about this? Does the democratic leadership know about this? Oh, you wait until they send the scotus a 120 pages strongly worded letter and negotiate with Ivanka about working together for the midterms!

trump doesn’t oppose mail-in voting. He uses it himself. He opposes mail-in voting for us. That’s an important distinction. It’s irresponsible to say he’s against something that he uses, and it’s not enough to point out the hypocrisy. Lay out exactly what he supports and what he doesn’t.

Honestly, I’m a little glad for the way this is being misrepresented. Every able bodied voter should plan to vote in person (or at least hand deliver their ballot) even if most of the EO is ultimately struck down.

And as soon as tomorrow, Judge Talwani may also issue a TRO against the new rule the USPS issued Friday night to implement the EO. In other words, this is a small win for the Trump administration, but *not* a ruling that fully clears the way for Trump to mess with mail-in ballots come November.

Not quite. No one expects Axios to have accurate news reporting. bsky.app/profile/macf...

Norm Eisen of Democracy Defenders Fund: “Please don't overreact to Roberts Court decision on the contemplated USPS ballot moves They simply held that the injunction came too early in the process, before there was a final rule. Now we HAVE a final rule & we will litigate it.”

No, they did not, as a matter of law. They didn't say it was legal they just played a game and said the suits were premature in their make-it-up-as-we go-along, way. Saying otherwise doesn't make it so, but I understand that your owner would like it to be.

Two years ago I dumped Axios as a “follow” and just thought I had too many to follow. I guess, subconsciously, I needed to dump Axios. After THIS crap, Axios is history to me. Sensational/yellow journalism is what they offer. Maybe merge with The Enquirer.
