indie jetstream from an indie atproto relay? yeah we got that too: wss://jetstream.fire.hose.cam/subscribe obligatory pdsls demo: pdsls.dev/jetstream?in... here, have an @tools: atp.tools/jetstream (open the little expand-y thing to add the wss URL)

full-scale indie atproto relay is live and public! get yer non-bluesky-owned firehose here! relay.fire.hose.cam jetstream soon, i’ve just done enough nginx iptables for one day.

ok yeah jetstream on the same server is just not happening. relay got OOM-killed and i decided to reboot so now i’m doing the gradual manual bsky pds reconnect dance and its not quick.

(it's backfilling 24h from the relay so give it a few mins before expecting live tail to be really live)

jetstream backfilling from the relay isn’t being kind on this machine. i probably need to run jetstream on a separate host, but if it can eventually catch up, maybbbeeee it will be fine?

relay is back up, still getting back in sync. jetstream is going to be a minute because i’m doing it all again but on a separate host from the relay 🥲
