i also received a bluesky grant, for @microcosm.blue dozens of atproto apps you might know use constellation, for major features like red dwarf, minor ones like leaflet, or as fallback like Blacksky.

fig (aka:[phil])@bad-example.com

yup that's officially 10 billion atproto backlinks indexed by constellation across every lexicon that you can query at constellation.microcosm.blue

slingshot simplifies identity resolution to streamline critical features like login for about half a dozen apps now, and speeds up record fetching for more. allegedly and the plc.wtf wrapped reference plc instance offer higher rate limits and push the plc ecosystem forward

microcosm hosts a collection of full-network firehoses (relay and jetstream) used by a few well known apps now. etc! thank you pbc for the dollars. there’s a lot more coming for microcosm and this has given me some breathing room to get there.

this one-off grant was a huge help for me personally, but the long-term sustainability is really thanks to everyone supporting on github and ko-fi. keeping self-hosting costs low so the core services can stay online based on community support alone has and will continue to be how this keeps going 💖
